Paviljoen ‘The Voice of Urban Nature’ op de Floriade

Floriade is a world horticultural exhibition that takes place in the Netherlands only once every 10 years. This is the 7th time the exhibition is to be held in the Netherlands, this time at a beautiful site in Almere. In collaboration with national and international participants and partners, the Dutch horticulture industry will bring the theme of ‘Growing Green Cities’ to life. Take a look!

Climate change and the need for more housing is putting our water system under pressure. This interactive exhibition at Arcam, the Architecture Centre of Amsterdam, illustrates the challenges and choices that come with this.

The exhibition is on display at the Coopmanshuys, and includes children's drawings by W.O.J. Nieuwenkamp
(St. Bavo, Haarlem) and the watchtower he designed in Lunteren. Many of the artworks illustrate Nieuwenkamp’s passion for travel as well as a variety of structures.
